goodbye 2010

well, its new years eve. Ive never cared for this day, or the next day. I never go to parties, and I dont have any friends that come over or anything like that. whatever. Im fine sitting here and claying :)

So, what do I think of 2010? It was ok. I think i wasted it. I didnt do a lot of the stuff that I said I would. I was lazy. some really good things happened, like we had the Olympics here in February, which I was against at firs. But I enjoyed it more than I thought. I got to go to CT again in June/July, and that was really cool. Going to Beckys is always so exciting for me, and of course I love seeing her :) We got to celebrate her bday this year. good times :) I met lots of great people at work, and made closer bonds with people I work with.

In September, I lost my very, very, very best and dearest friend. She got an infection in the hospital where she was struggling with chemo and another infection. Her poor body couldnt handle it anymore, and she left us. I am so grateful I got to see her and say goodbye to her, even if I didnt get a reply from her. I iss her SO much, and a part of my soul died with her that day. I will miss her for the rest of my life :(
This year, I made a lot of Chickys. Too many, I think XD I ran out of room to put them ;p Now I box them up and store them. This year, I am going to post them in my Etsy shop, and hopefully they will be adopted this year. I have really advanced in the Chickys designs, and I hope I can keep this up. I have lots of ideas, and hopefully I can start making them soon.

This year, I really want to stick to my resolutions. Here are some of them:

1. Post items Etsy, and promote shop

2. Get good business cards

3. Blog and Vlog

4. Make clay vids for YouTube

5. Lose weight (when is that NOT my resolution?) XD

6. Get a business license

those are the ones I can think of at the moment. I dont think there is anything else, actually. But if I think of anything, Ill add them. Well, I think Ive written enough for tonight. Hope everyone has a great new year! see you in 2011! ........ seems weird writing that XD

Shimmering Christmas Frosting

Im working on Shimmering Christmas Frosting ScentSational Chicky Bean decorations. Christmas is over, but, its still winter XD im in the process of making her coat. I think she will be a blonde ;) I like the colours I have picked, so hopefully she will turn out cool :) she is munching on a cookie. I have used my new Martha Stewart glitters mixed in to the colours I have made, plus im using my new Martha Stewart micro marbles. I got a set of glitters and a set of micro marbles for christmas, witch rules ;)

New Blog

hello!

As one of my new years resolutions, I am going to keep a blog. It will mostly be about my polymer clay work, but there could be some other things thrown in as well ;) Ill update when I can, and hopefully I can keep this going for the whole year. im going to try to keep track of things this year. hope you enjoy!

So, I guess Ill start this post by showing off one of my fave Chicky Bean decorations I made this year. Ironically, when I began making her, and during most of the process, I didnt think she would turn out. BUT, in the end, I loved her! This is Elise Robyn, the Building Snowmen ScentSational Chicky Bean. I love how the colours worked out, and the decoration itself has a good weight to it, which I like :)
